 My Favorite Festival My favorite festival is The Sinhala and Tamil New Year. It called  Aluth Avurudu,  is the most joyful festival in Sri Lanka. We celebrate it in April when the sun moves from Meena Rashiya to Mesha Rashiya.  It is a time for family, food, and lots of fun. Before the festival starts, everyone cleans their houses. My mother buys new clothes for all of us.  We follow special times called Nekath. My family were doing these every Nekath on the time. My mother lights the stove at a lucky time to boil milk.  We all sit together to eat the first meal of the year. We eat delicious foods as Milk rice,  Kavum, Kokis, and Bananas.   We give betel leaves to our parents and grandparents to get their blessings. The best part of Avurudu is the Avurudu Kreeda. (village games). We play many fun games like Kotta Pora, Lissana Gaha, Kana Mutti etc.  I love this ceremony because everyone is happy.

 The Magic of the Morning  The morning is my favorite part of the day. Because everything is fresh, cool, and very peaceful. When I wake up, the sun is just starting to peek through my window. The sky changes from dark blue to soft pink and bright orange. I love to see this.  The morning is very quiet, but I can hear beautiful sounds. Birds sing happy songs to start the day.   Morning air feels cool and clean.  Taking a big breath of morning air makes me happy.   The morning vibe is special because it is a new beginning. It tells us that today is a brand new gift.  We can fill it with smiles and kindness. I love the morning because it is the most beautiful and quiet time of all.

 Adam's Peak Adam's Peak is a very tall and beautiful mountain in the country of Sri Lanka. Many people call it Sri Padaya.    people from all over the world and different religions visit the mountain together.  At the very top of the mountain, there is a large rock with a mark that looks like a giant footprint.  Buddhists believe it belongs to Lord Buddha. Hindus believe it is the footprint of Lord Shiva. Christians and Muslims believe it belongs to Adam. To get to the top, you have to climb thousands of stone stairs. Most people start climbing at night. You will see a long line of lights stretching up into the sky. When the sun rises, it turns the sky bright orange and pink.    There are also many tiny white butterflies that fly toward the mountain. This is why some people call it Samanalakanda, which means "Butterfly Mountain." When you reach the top and see the view, you feel like you are standing on top of the world.

Volleyball in the Evening😍  Volleyball is my favorite sport. I went to play volleyball to ground with my playable friends  When the sun starts to go down and the sky turns orange and pink, my friends and I go to the ground. The air feels cool and nice to play.  Volleyball is a great game because we play together. We shout, "I got it!" or "Your turn!" to help each other. We play very well. When we hit the ball over the net, we feel very happy. Sometimes we dive on the grass to save the ball. It makes us laugh and jump. There were many exercises to us. I get to talk and play with my best friends. When it gets dark, we are tired but very happy. We say goodbye and go home for dinner. I always look forward to playing volleyball again the next day.

 The Magic Mountain Dolosbage is a beautiful place in Sri Lanka. It is located in Bulathkohupitiya. This mountain is big area filled with green mountains, misty clouds, and very fresh air.💦 It is much cooler than the city. Sometimes, It feels like you are walking inside a cloud. Everywhere you look, there are bright green tea bushes.  Because it rains a lot there, you can find many hidden waterfalls.  One of the most famous parts of Dolosbage is a group of mountains called the Saptha Kanya.   If you visit Dolosbage, you can go for a hike.  .Many people like to take photos because every spot looks like a beautiful painting. Dolosbage is a peaceful place where the earth meets the sky. It reminds us how important it is to protect our trees.

 Sports are Great Sports are games that we play with our bodies. They are a lot of games to do. They are kicking a ball, swimming in a pool, or running a race, sports. They make our hearts happy and our bodies strong. When we play sports, we exercise. It helps us grow tall, and keeps us from getting sick. Playing outside in the fresh air also helps us sleep better at night. Many sports are played in teams. When you play on a team, you learn how to help your friends. You help each other when things are hard. This is called teamwork, and it is one of the most important things you can learn. You don't have to be the fastest or the strongest to enjoy sports. I love to play with m friends in evening. I love having a great time with your friends.
